Project 1 - Etching AND Grams Chicken Casserole recipe

So my wonderful friend Kristi told me about etching, she was shocked that I had never tried it.  So I ran out to the store and got all the supplies to make a gift for my cousins wedding.  Fast forward to a month later - 2 days before the wedding reception I still have not attempted to etch this gift so I decided to just give it a go and hope for the best.  Here is a picture of the trifle dish I got them before I did anything to it.

The next picture is after I etched it.  It is not perfect but I am happy with it.  And I think the new couple will love it as well.

Inside there is a "k" for kyle and "&b" for bethany.  I am so excited to give them this because from what I know of the bride she loves to cook.  I am going to include some of our family favorite recipes here is one that I am really excited to give her.
Grams Chicken Casserole
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk
1 3/4 cup uncooked macaroni noodles
1/2 cup Velveeta cheese cubed
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 minced onion
1 cup cooked diced chicken (can use canned if you are in a hurry)
{gram sometimes put sliced hard boiled egg in it too}

Mix all ingredients and let set in fridge overnight.  Bake at 350 for one hour.

Yep that is right just mix it all up the night before and the next day the noodles are soft and everything is yummy.  This brings back many memories of Sunday dinners with all the family.
